Microsoft's Java VM that comes with older versions of Windows™ is discontinued and is currently not being supported by Microsoft because of a legal settlement with Sun Microsystems™. Because of security vulnerabilities in Microsoft's Java, BeyondMissing advises users to uninstall the Microsoft Java VM and install the Sun version instead.
